ORDINANCE NO. BL2010-717

An Ordinance amending Chapters 12.36 and 12.40 of the Metropolitan Code to prohibit buses on Love Circle.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Chapter 12.36 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following new Section 12.36.095:

12.36.095 Buses prohibited on Love Circle.
No bus or recreational vehicle with a length in excess of twenty-four feet, other than a bus operated by the metropolitan board of public education, shall be permitted on Love Circle.

Section 2. That Chapter 12.40 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following new Section 12.40.195:

12.40.195 Parking of buses on Love Circle.
It is unlawful for any person to park a bus or recreational vehicle with a length in excess of twenty-four feet on Love Circle. The provisions of this ordinance shall not apply to buses operated by the metropolitan board of public education.

Section 3. The Metropolitan Traffic and Parking Commission is hereby requested to erect the proper signage on Love Circle providing notice of the prohibitions contained in this Ordinance.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
