ORDINANCE NO. BL2010-678
An ordinance amending Chapter 15.04 and Chapter 15.60 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws relating to industrial waste discharges.
WHEREAS, state and federal regulations require the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to adopt and revise as necessary industrial sewer user discharge limits for the protection of the public sewer system and public waters; and,
WHEREAS, the State of Tennessee, Department of Environment and Conservation, recently reviewed these chapters of the Metropolitan Code and the Metropolitan Government’s industrial discharge limits and advised that they be revised as reflected in this ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1: Metropolitan Code of Laws, Chapter 15.04 is hereby replaced in its entirety with the Chapter 15.04 attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 2: Metropolitan Code of Laws, Section 15.60.010 and Chapter 15.60 Articles I, II, and III are hereby replaced with the Section 15.60.010 and Chapter 15.60 Articles I, II, and III attached hereto and incorporated herein.
Section 3: This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
