ORDINANCE NO. BL2010-676

An ordinance approving a donation agreement between Rhonda A. Martocci and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, for the donation of one Tennessee Walking Horse, The Autobahn.

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (“MNPD”) has entered into a donation agreement with Rhonda A. Martocci for the donation of The Autobahn, TWHBEA No. 20404215, a Tennessee Walking Horse without any compensation to the donor. The MNPD will become the owner of said horse at the time of delivery, and the donor will not seek the return of the horse at any time; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the donation agreement by and between Rhonda A. Martocci of Franklin, Tennessee, and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, for the donation of one Tennessee Walking Horse, The Autobahn, a copy of which the donation agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
