ORDINANCE NO. BL2009-541

An ordinance to approve an affiliation agreement by and between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to provide student clinical instruction and training with Davidson County Community Corrections.

WHEREAS, it is to the mutual benefit of Vanderbilt University and the Metropolitan Government to provide student clinical instruction and training with Davidson County Community Corrections; and,

WHEREAS, Vanderbilt University and the Metropolitan Government, by and through Davidson County Community Corrections, have entered into an affiliation agreement, attached hereto and incorporated herein, to participate in student clinical instruction and training; and,

WHEREAS, it is to benefit the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this affiliation agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the affiliation agreement between Vanderbilt University and The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
