ORDINANCE NO. BL2009-404
An Ordinance amending Chapter 2.64 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the employment of former members of Metropolitan Government Boards and Commissions.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Chapter 2.64 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following new Section 2.64.060:
2.64.060 Employment of members of boards and commissions.
No former member of a metropolitan government board or commission shall be eligible for employment as a director or assistant director of the board or commission upon which he/she served for a period of two (2) years following the date of discontinuation of service on the particular board or commission.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
