ORDINANCE NO. BL2009-372

An Ordinance authorizing The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County to accept a donation of real property located at the southeasterly corner of Hamilton Church Road and Mt View Road, further described as a portion of Tax Map 164-00, a portion of Parcels 196 and 193 (Proposal No. 2009M-002PR-001).

Whereas, Global Construction, Inc. owns Parcels 193 and 196 on Tax Map 164-00; and,

Whereas, Global Construction, Inc. desires to donate approximately 23.2 acres of land, which is a portion of Parcels 193 and 196 on Tax Map 164-00, identified in Exhibit A, to the Metropolitan Government for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Board of Parks and Recreation; and,

Whereas the Board of Parks and Recreation recommends that the Metropolitan Government accept this property;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:

Section 1. The Metropolitan Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of the donation of the subject property, as shown on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Section 2. The Director of Public Property Administration, or his designee is hereby authorized to accept said property title, in the form of a warranty deed.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson requiring it.
