ORDINANCE NO. BL2008-341
An ordinance approving and accepting a contribution in the amount of $133,500 from Centex Homes for purposes of Transportation Infrastructure Improvements in the Southeast Infrastructure Deficiency Area associated with the Carter Property (Proposal No. 2006SP-112G-12).
WHEREAS, Centex Homes, developed the Carter Property on Pettus Road; and,
WHEREAS, said development increased the need of the Metropolitan Government for certain transportation infrastructure improvements; and,
WHEREAS, in acknowledgement of the foregoing, Centex Homes has offered $133,500 to be used for said Transportation Infrastructure Improvements in the Southeast Infrastructure Deficiency Area, associated with the Carter Property (Proposal No. 2006SP-112G-12).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.
Section 1. That the contribution of $133,500 from Centex Homes is hereby approved and accepted, and shall be deposited in a fund designated by the Director of Finance.
Section 2. That the Department of Public Works shall use these funds for the purposes of transportation infrastructure improvements in the Southeast Infrastructure Deficiency Area, associated with the Carter Property (Proposal No. 2006SP-112G-12).
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
