ORDINANCE NO. BL2008-340

An ordinance approving and accepting a contribution in the amount of $110,000 from Murphy Development, LLC for purposes of Transportation Infrastructure Improvements in the Swiss Avenue Area.

WHEREAS, the Swiss View and Hermitage Manor Development, has been constructed in the Swiss Avenue area; and,

WHEREAS, said development increased the need of the Metropolitan Government for certain transportation infrastructure improvements and,

WHEREAS, in acknowledgement of the foregoing, Murphy Development, LLC has offered $110,000 to be used for said transportation infrastructure improvements.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. That the contribution of $110,000 from Murphy Development, LLC is hereby approved and accepted, and shall be deposited in a fund designated by the Director of Finance.

Section 2. That the Department of Public Works shall use these funds for the purposes of transportation infrastructure improvements in the Swiss Avenue area.

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
