ORDINANCE NO. BL2008-327

An Ordinance amending Chapter 17.20 of Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code, Zoning Regulations, pertaining to the parking requirements for after hours establishments (Proposal No. 2008Z-086T).

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Section 17.20.030 of Title 17 of the Code of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Zoning Regulations, is hereby amended by amending Table 17.20.030 by adding the following under Commercial Uses:

“After hours establishment 1 space per 75 square feet”

Section 2. That Section 17.20.040 of Title 17 of the Code of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Zoning Regulations, is hereby amended by amending Table 17.20.040 by amending the criteria under the Transit Adjustment to read as follows:

“Resident or nonresident use (other than an after hours establishment) is located within 660 feet of a public transit route.”

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its passage and such change be published in a newspaper of general circulation, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
