ORDINANCE NO. BL2008-309

An ordinance approving a license agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and the MPD Community Credit Union for the use of office space at the Criminal Justice Center (Proposal No. 2008M-139).

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, has negotiated a license agreement to allow the MPD Community Credit Union to tenant office space at 200 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN for a term of five (5) years, and;

WHEREAS, the MPD Community Credit Union will be responsible for all costs associated with the maintenance and operations of this branch location, and;

WHEREAS, this branch location will serve the financial needs of the general public and the members of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department who are members of the MPD Community Credit Union, and;

WHEREAS, it is to benefit the citizens of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this agreement be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The license agreement entered into between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, and the MPD Community Credit Union, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved.

Section 2: That any new amendments to this agreement shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council receiving twenty-one affirmative votes.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
