ORDINANCE NO. BL2008-302

WHEREAS, a 16 inch water line and easement and an adjustment of a 16 inch sanitary sewer manhole vent, more particularly described in Project No. 08-SL-0044 and 08-WL-0032, John C. Tune Airport 07-SL-0009, on record in the Department of Water and Sewerage Services and incorporated herein by reference, are no longer being used by the Department of Water and Sewerage Services nor any other public utility; and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved this mandatory referral No. 2008M-105U-7 on June 3, 2008 for abandonment of said easement and water line and the adjustment of a 16 inch sanitary sewer manhole vent.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Metropolitan Government hereby abandons the 16 inch water line and easement and an adjustment of a 16 inch sanitary sewer manhole vent shown on Map 079, Parcel 034.00, Project No. 08-SL-0044 and 08-WL-0032, John C. Tune Airport as indicated on Exhibit 1 hereto, and the Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment authorized by this ordinance.

Section 2. Any further amendments to this Legislation may be processed by Resolution.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
