ORDINANCE NO. BL2008-286
An ordinance creating the positions of Internal Auditor 1, Internal Auditor 2, Senior Internal Auditor, Principal Internal Auditor, and Internal Audit Manager for the Division of Metropolitan Audit of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County.
Whereas, Section 12.10 of the Metropolitan Charter provides that newly created positions within the Metropolitan Government shall be approved by ordinance; and
Whereas, the Metropolitan County Mayor, the Interim Director of Human Resources, the Metropolitan Auditor, and the Metropolitan Civil Service Commission deem it necessary to create the positions of Internal Auditor 1, Internal Auditor 2, Senior Internal Auditor, Principal Internal Auditor, and Internal Audit Manager.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1: There is hereby created the following positions:

The above positions will be in the classified service of the Metropolitan Government.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
