ORDINANCE NO. BL2008-250

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to enter into renewal of a water easement at J. Percy Priest Dam and Reservoir Project 08-WG-0001 Corps of Engineer, Easement No. DACW62-2-88-0093 (Proposal No. 2008M-006U-13).

WHEREAS, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has prepared a grant and offered an easement renewal on Corps of Engineers property to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County; and,

WHEREAS, this easement is described in the plans for J. Percy Priest Dam and Reservoir Project, on file with the Department of Water and Sewerage Services, and is located on the property described in Exhibit A.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to enter into a renewal of a certain easement as described in the plans for J. Percy Priest Dam and Reservoir Project, on file with the Department of Water and Sewerage Services, and located on the property described in Exhibits A hereto, which plans and exhibits are incorporated herein.

Section 2. The easement renewal shall be filed in the Office of the Register of Deeds to evidence its acceptance.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.

Section 4. Any further amendments to this legislation may be processed by Resolution.
