ORDINANCE NO. BL2007-68
An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with Texaco Fueling Station/Market, to provide public sewer service in Williamson County to Haley Industrial Park, Project No. 05-SL-63.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to the terms of the document attached as Exhibit A, Texaco Fueling Station/Market proposes to provide public sewer service in Williamson County, Tennessee, to a development known as Haley Industrial Park, Project No. 05-SL-63; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, has built the Mill Creek Trunk Sewer Project No. 98-SG-13 anticipating participation from developers at $2,000.00 per connection towards the cost of the Project; and
WHEREAS, this Project is deemed to benefit both parties and the general community, and Texaco Fueling Station/Market agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $30,000.00 for a total of 15 units of flow.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.
SECTION 1. The participation agreement (Exhibit A) with Texaco Fueling Station/Market, to provide public sewer services in Williamson County, Tennessee, known as Haley Industrial Park, Project No. 05-SL-63, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Director of Water and Sewer Services is authorized to execute the same.
SECTION 2. That the $30,000.00 from Texaco Fueling Station/Market will be deposited as a contribution-in-aid of construction in Water and Sewer Extension and Replacement Fund No.47335.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
