An Ordinance amending Section 7.08.140 of the Metropolitan Code to prohibit the sale of single cans or bottles of beer by off-sale permit holders.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. Section 7.08.140 of the Metropolitan Code shall be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following new provisions:

“T. To display or sell beer from an ice tub or similar container, other than a mechanical refrigeration unit. The provisions of this subsection shall not apply to the holders of on-sale permits, caterer’s permits or special events permits.
U. To sell beer and malt beverages in quantities of less than seventy (70) ounces per bottle or a factory-packaged six-pack. The provisions of this subsection shall not apply to the holders of on-sale permits, caterer’s permits, or special events permits.”

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
