An ordinance amending Section 15.68.020 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the installation of private fire hydrants.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Section 15.68.020 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by amending subsection B. by adding the following provision at the end thereof:

“The provisions of this subsection shall not apply to a single-family residential structure constructed on a lot of five acres or more in size.”

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
