ORDINANCE NO. BL2007-41

An ordinance approving a lease agreement between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center and Legends Properties, LLC for the lease of office space for the Wilson County NCAC Program (Proposal No. 2007M-148).

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center has negotiated a lease agreement with Legends Properties, LLC to lease office space at 155 Legends Drive, Suite M, Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee, to house its Wilson County NCAC Program for an initial term of Five (5) Years, a copy of which is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this lease agreement be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1: That the lease agreement entered into between The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County acting by and through the Nashville Career Advancement Center and Legends Properties, LLC, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan County Mayor is authorized to execute the same.

Section 2: That any new amendments to this lease shall be approved by resolution of the Metropolitan Council receiving twenty-one affirmative votes.

Section 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
