An ordinance amending Section 5.04.020 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the leasing of equipment and motor vehicles.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1.  That Section 5.04.020 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by adding the following new language:

This section shall not apply to leases of equipment (exclusive of office equipment) and motor vehicles used for seasonal construction or repair work including, but not limited to street and road paving and construction projects.

Section 2.  This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
