An ordinance accepting a contribution to the Metropolitan Government from BMT Associates, LLC in the amount of $40,000 for a traffic signal at 4317 Harding Pike for the Belle Meade Town Center.

WHEREAS, BMT Associates, LLC is developing land at 4317 Harding Pike for the Belle Meade Town Center, and

WHEREAS, the Belle Meade Town Center development increased the need for a traffic signal at 4317 Harding Road, and

WHEREAS, in acknowledgement of the foregoing, BMT Associates, LLC has offered a contribution in the amount of $40,000 to the Metropolitan Government for a traffic signal at 4317 Harding Pike.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. That the contribution of $40,000 for a traffic signal from BMT Associates, LLC is hereby approved and accepted, and shall be deposited in a fund designated by the Director of Finance.

Section 2. That the Department of Public Works shall use these funds for the purposes of a traffic signal at 4317 Harding Pike .

Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
