ORDINANCE NO. BL2007-1319
An Ordinance amending Chapter 15.12 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to require that all Williamson County property owners desiring to connect to the Mill Creek Trunk Sewer or the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer pay a basin charge of $2,000 per connection.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Chapter 15.12 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following new Section 15.12.045:
"15.12.045 Basin charge.
Any
owner or developer of property located within Williamson County desiring to
connect to the Mill Creek Trunk Sewer (Project No. 98-SG-13) or the Owl Creek
Trunk Sewer (Project Nos. 97-SG-84 and 97-SG-84A) shall pay a basin charge to
the department of water and sewerage services in the amount of two thousand
dollars ($2,000) per connection."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after is enactment, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
