ORDINANCE NO. BL2007-1309
An ordinance amending Chapter 13.08 of the Metropolitan Code pertaining to the naming of public rights-of-way in honor of persons who are deceased.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 13.08.015 of the Metropolitan Code is hereby amended by deleting the phrase ", and a waiting period of two years shall pass before naming a street after a person who is deceased" wherein it appears in subsection D.2.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
