ORDINANCE NO. BL2006-981
An ordinance amending Section 16.44.030 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to prohibit construction noise in a residential area exceeding seventy Db(A) between the hours of nine p.m. and seven a.m.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 16.44.030 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws shall be and the same is hereby amended by deleting the phrase "between the hours of nine p.m. and six a.m." and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "between the hours of nine p.m. and seven a.m.".
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
