An ordinance abandoning a 20 foot sanitary sewer easement, that is shown on Map 147-04, Parcel 183.00, Project 05-SG-0021, Wallace Road Medical Building, and authorizing the execution of the documents to carry out the abandonment (Proposal No. 2005M-224U-12).

WHEREAS, a 20 foot existing sanitary sewer easement, more particularly described in Project No. 05-SG-0021, Wallace Road Medical Building, on record in the department of Water and Sewerage Services and incorporated herein by reference, is no longer being used by the Department of Water and Sewerage Services nor any other public utility; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Planning Commission approved this mandatory referral No. 2005M-224U-12 on November 15, 2005 for abandonment of said easement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1: That the Metropolitan Government hereby abandons the 20 foot sanitary sewer easement shown on Map 147-04, Parcel 183.00, Project No. 05-SG-0021, Wallace Road Medical Building, as indicated on Exhibit 1 hereto, and the Director of Water and Sewerage Services and the Director of Public Property Administration are authorized to execute such documents as may be necessary and appropriate to carry out the abandonment authorized by this ordinance.

SECTION 2: That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
