ORDINANCE NO. BL2006-1278

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with Williamson County Schools, to provide public sewer service in Williamson County to Williamson County School, Project No. 06-SL-137.

WHEREAS, Williamson County School, has expressed a desire to provide public sewer service in Williamson County, Tennessee, to a development known as Williamson County School, Project No. 06-SL-137; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, has built the Mill Creek Trunk Sewer Project No. 98-SG-13 anticipating participation from developers at $2,000.00 per connection towards the cost of the Mill Creek Trunk Sewer Project; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed to benefit both parties and the general community, Williamson County School agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $74,000.00 for 37 units of flow needed to service the school; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1. The Director of Water and Sewer Services is hereby authorized to execute a participation agreement, Exhibit 1, with Williamson County School , to provide public sewer services in Williamson County, Tennessee, known as Williamson County School, Project No. 06-SL-137.

SECTION 2. That the $74,000.00 is deposited as a contribution-in-aid of construction in Water and Sewer Extension and Replacement Fund No. 47335.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
