An ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Property, or his designee, to accept H.G. Hill Realty Company, LLC's proposed donation of a parcel of property for use as a park and to execute and record any instruments necessary to effect the donation (Proposal No. 2006M-130U-12).

WHEREAS, H.G. Hill Realty Company, LLC ("H.G. Hill") owns a parcel of property (the "Property") described in the document attached as Exhibit A to this ordinance; and

WHEREAS H.G. Hill proposes to donate the Property to the Metropolitan Government for use as a park, pursuant to the terms of the document attached as Exhibit B to this ordinance; and

WHEREAS, the citizens of Nashville and Davidson County will benefit by accepting the donation of the Property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The Director of Public Property, or his designee, is authorized to accept the proposed donation of the Property, record the deed of conveyance (Exhibit B) and execute any other documents necessary to effect the donation.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
