An ordinance approving the disposition of a certain parcel of property held by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and known as the Randalls Learning Center by the Director of Public Property (Proposal No. 2006M-153U-10).

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government owns a certain parcel of property located at 3501 Byron Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee 37205, Map 104-10, Parcel 47 (Exhibit A); and,

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education has determined that the parcel of property located at 3501 Byron Avenue is no longer needed for school purposes; and,

WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Nashville Board of Education has transferred the property located at 3501 Byron Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee 37205, to the Director of Public Property; and,

Whereas, the Director of Public Property is authorized to dispose of the property subject to the approval of the Metropolitan Council and the Mayor.

Now, therefore be it enacted by the Council of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1: That the Metropolitan Council declares the following parcel of land owned by Metropolitan Government to be surplus:

Section 2. That the Director of Public Property is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of said property listed above, in accordance with the Standard Rules and Regulations for the disposition of surplus real property.

Section 3. That the proceeds from the sale of said parcel(s) of property shall be credited to the unappropriated school fund of the metropolitan government.

.Section 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
