ORDINANCE NO. BL2006-1242

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with TWD I Partnership, to provide public pressure sewer extension through construction of sewerage pump station and force main for its development at The Preserve at Old Hickory Pump Station.

WHEREAS, TWD I Partnership , has expressed a desire to provide public pressure sewer extension through construction of a sewerage pump station and force main for its development at The Preserve at Old Hickory Pump Station ; and

WHEREAS, TWD I Partnership agrees to fund the additional operation and maintenance costs for the proposed pump station and force main in the amount of $200,000.00 at the time TWD requests a sewer connection permit.

WHEREAS, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. The maintenance agreement with TWD I Partnership, to provide public pressure sewer through construction of a sewerage pump station and force main for its development at The Preserve at Old Hickory Pump Station, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Director of Water and Sewerage Services is authorized to execute the same.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
