ORDINANCE NO. BL2006-1240
An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with Roy Maynard, to provide public sewer service in Williamson County to 1119 Waller Road, Project No. 98-SL-192.
WHEREAS, Roy Maynard, has expressed a desire to provide public sewer service in Williamson County, Tennessee, to a development known as 1119 Waller Road, Project No. 98-SL-192 ; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, has built the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer Project No. 97-SG-84 anticipating participation from developers at $2,000.00 per connection towards the cost of the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer Project; and
WHEREAS, this project is deemed to benefit both parties and the general community, and Roy Maynard agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $2,000.00 for a total of 1 single-family home connection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.
SECTION 1. The participation agreement with Roy Maynard, to provide public sewer services in Williamson County, Tennessee, known as 1119 Waller Road, Project No. 98-SL-192, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved and the Director of Water and Sewerage Services is authorized to execute the same.
SECTION 2. That the $2,000.00 is to be deposited as a contribution-in-aid of construction in Water and Sewer Extension and Replacement Fund No. 47335.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
