ORDINANCE NO. BL2006-1127
An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with Pulte Homes, Tennessee LP, to provide public sewer service in Williamson County to Winterset Woods Section 4A, Project No. 05-SL-174.
WHEREAS, Pulte Homes, Tennessee LP, has expressed a desire to provide public sewer service in Williamson County, Tennessee, to a development known as Winterset Woods Section 4A, Project No. 05-SL-174; and
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, has built the Mill Creek Trunk Sewer Project No. 98-SG-13 anticipating participation from developers at $2,000.00 per connection towards the cost of the Project; and
WHEREAS, this Project is deemed to benefit both parties and the general community, and Pulte Homes, Tennessee LP, agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $64,000.00 for a total of 32 single-family home connections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.
SECTION 1. The participation agreement with Pulte Homes, Tennessee LP, to provide public sewer services in Williamson County, Tennessee, known as Winterset Woods Section 4A, Project No. 05-SL-174, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved, and the Director of Water and Sewer Services is authorized to execute the same.
SECTION 2. That the $64,000.00 from Pulte Homes, Tennessee LP, will be deposited as a contribution-in-aid of construction in Water and Sewer Extension and Replacement Fund No.47335.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
