An ordinance approving and authorizing the General Services Department to accept a donation of furniture and equipment from Davidson County Community Services Agency.

WHEREAS, the Davidson County Community Services Agency (DCCSA) wishes to donate furniture and equipment to the Metropolitan Government; and,

WHEREAS, a description of the furniture and equipment is attached hereto as Exhibit A; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the donation of furniture and equipment described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, by the Davidson County Community Services Agency (DCCSA) to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, is hereby approved, and the General Services Department is authorized to accept the donated furniture and equipment.

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
