ORDINANCE NO. BL2005-846
An ordinance approving the disposition of a parcel of surplus property located at 1822 Pearl Street, by the Director of Public Property Administration held by The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Proposal No. 2005M-182U-08).
Whereas, The Metropolitan
Government owns a certain parcel of property (Exhibit A); and
Whereas, The Board of Education has determined that a certain parcel of property
is no longer needed for school purposes (Exhibit B); and
Whereas, the Metropolitan Government has authorized the Director of Public Property to sell said property subject to the approval of the Metropolitan Council and the Mayor.
Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:
Section 1. The Metropolitan County Council declares the following parcel of property defined below and shown in attached Exhibit "A", owned in fee by the Metropolitan Government to be surplus:

Section 2. The Director of Public Property is hereby authorized and directed to sell said property listed above in accordance with the Standard Rules and Regulations for the disposition of surplus real property.
Section 3. The
proceeds from the sale of said parcel(s) of property shall be credited to the
unappropriated school fund of the metropolitan government.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
