ORDINANCE NO. BL2005-727

An ordinance amending Section 16.24.330 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws exempting vehicles with a visible disabled driver placard from the provision requiring motor vehicles to be parked on a paved or graveled driveway.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. Section 16.24.330 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws be and the same is hereby amended by deleting the phrase "This subsection shall not be applicable to any vehicle for which a valid handicapped license plate has been issued and is displayed on the vehicle", wherein it appears in subsection K.3., and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "This subsection shall not be applicable to any vehicle for which a valid disabled driver license plate or placard has been issued pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated §55-21-101, et seq., and is visibly displayed on or in the vehicle."

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
