ORDINANCE NO. BL2005-647

An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government to participate with John and Gail Chamberlain to provide public sewer service in Williamson County to John and Gail Chamberlain Property, Project No. 04-SL-207.

WHEREAS, John and Gail Chamberlain, have expressed a desire to provide public sewer service in Williamson County, Tennessee, to a development known as John and Gail Chamberlain Property, Project No. 04-SL-207; and

WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Department of Water and Sewerage Services, has built the Owl Creek Trunk Sewer Project No. 97-SG-84 anticipating participation from developers at $2,000.00 per connection towards the cost of the Owl Creek Project; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed to benefit both parties and the general community, John and Gail Chamberlain agrees to pay an amount not to exceed $2,000.00 for a total of one single-family home connection; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

SECTION 1. The Director of Water and Sewer Services is hereby authorized to execute a participation agreement, Exhibit 1, with John and Gail Chamberlain , to provide public sewer services in Williamson County, Tennessee, known as the John and Gail Chamberlain Property Project No. 04-SL-207.

SECTION 2. That the $2,000.00 is deposited as a contribution-in-aid of construction in Water and Sewer Extension and Replacement Fund No. 47335.

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
