An ordinance amending the Official Street and Alley Acceptance and Maintenance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County by accepting an alley adjacent to Love Circle for public maintenance (Proposal No. 2004M-019U-10).

Whereas, the paved alley adjacent to Love Circle (the "Love Circle Alley") facilitates access by the public and Metropolitan employees to the improvements in the vicinity of Love Circle; and

Whereas, the Metropolitan Government desires to designate as public right-of-way and accept for maintenance the entire paved surface of Love Circle Alley as shown on Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and

Whereas, it is in the best interest of the citizens of Nashville and Davidson County that the paved section shown on the attached Exhibit A be accepted by the Metropolitan Government as public right-of-way.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the Official Street and Alley Maintenance and Acceptance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, as enacted by Ordinance No. BL2003-63, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:

The entire paved surface, shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, located on Map 104-06, is hereby accepted by the Metropolitan Government as public right-of-way for public maintenance.

Section 2. That said alley referenced in Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be designated on the Official Street and Alley Maintenance and Acceptance Map for The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County as Alley # 5683.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.

I move to amend Ordinance No. BL2005-644 by amending Section 1 by deleting the phrase "Ordinance No. BL2003-63" and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "Ordinance No. BL2005-520".
