An Ordinance amending Section 12.40.040 of the Metropolitan Code by permitting parking within the Central Business Improvement District during certain evenings in some spaces where parking is now prohibited.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

SECTION 1. Section 12.40.040 of the Metropolitan Code shall be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following provisions to the end of the sentences in subsection A.1.i., subsection A.2.f.,and subsection A.3.b:

",provided however, parking shall be allowed in the central business improvement district between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Thursday through Sunday evenings, any sign prohibition to the contrary notwithstanding."

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
