ORDINANCE NO. BL2005-633
An Ordinance amending Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code, Zoning Regulations, by amending Table 17.32.130D regarding the maximum size of on-premises signs oriented to a controlled access highway, all of which is more specifically described herein (Proposal No. 2005Z-056T).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the codification of Title 17 of the Code of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Zoning Regulations, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Table 17.32.130D by deleting the phrase "A sign oriented to a controlled access highway may be as large as the maximum size of a sign otherwise permitted by Table 17.32.130D", wherein it appears in Note 3, and substituting in lieu thereof the phrase "A sign oriented to a controlled access highway may be as large as the greater of (1) the maximum size of a sign otherwise permitted by Table 17.32.130D, or (2) the maximum size of a sign otherwise permitted by Table 17.32.130D as determined by substituting 'Controlled Access Highway Footage Frontage in Feet', in lieu of 'Lot Frontage in Feet'."
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its passage and such change be published in a newspaper of general circulation, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
