An ordinance accepting a donation of $142.06 from Fred's Inc. for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Police Department.

WHEREAS, Fred's Inc. wishes to donate $142.06 to the Metropolitan Government for the use and benefit of the Metropolitan Police Department; and,

WHEREAS, a copy of the letter sent to the Police Department enclosing a check in the amount of $142.06 is attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the citizens of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County that this donation be accepted.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the donation of $142.06 by Fred's Inc. to The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is hereby approved, and the Metropolitan Police Department is authorized to accept the same.

Section 2. That such accepted funds shall be deposited in Fund 31121252, BU 503111, to be appropriated for the use and benefit of the Police Department.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
