An ordinance approving and accepting a contribution in the amount of $35,000 from Riverwalk Development Partners, Inc. for purposes of traffic infrastructure improvements at Newsome Station Road and McCrory Lane.

Whereas, Riverwalk Development Partners, Inc. has developed Riverwalk subdivision near the intersection of Newsome Station Road and McCrory Lane; and,

Whereas, said development increased the need of the Metropolitan Government for certain traffic infrastructure improvements at Newsome Station Road; and,

Whereas, in acknowledgement of the foregoing, Riverwalk Development Partners, Inc. has offered $35,000 to the Metropolitan Government to be used for said infrastructure improvements.

Now, therefore, be it enacted by the Council of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County:

Section 1. That the contribution of $35,000 from Riverwalk Development Partners, Inc. is hereby approved and accepted, and shall be deposited in a fund designated by the Director of Finance.

Section 2. That the Department of Public Works shall use these funds for the purposes of traffic infrastructure improvements at Newsome Station Road and McCrory Lane.

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
