ORDINANCE NO. BL2005-559
An ordinance amending Section 2.100.050 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to require vehicles operated by Metropolitan Transportation Inspectors in furtherance of their duties to be clearly marked as transportation inspection vehicles.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Section 2.100.050 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws shall be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following sentence at the end thereof:
"Any vehicle used by such inspectors in furtherance of their duties shall be clearly marked on the outside of each front door that such vehicle is a metropolitan transportation inspection vehicle."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its adoption, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
