ORDINANCE NO. BL2005-553

An ordinance amending Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code, zoning regulations, by amending Section 17.40.120 to require that district councilmembers be notified by the planning commission upon the filing of a master development plan application (Proposal No. 2005Z-031T).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the codification of Title 17 of the Code of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Zoning Regulations, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 17.40.120 as follows:

1. By amending Subsection A.1. by adding the following new sentence after the first sentence:

"Within five (5) business days from receiving a master development plan application, the planning commission shall send written notice to the district councilmember for the district(s) in which the property that would be subject to the master development plan is located as to the substance of the proposed development."

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its passage and such change be published in a newspaper of general circulation, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
