An ordinance amending Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code, zoning regulations, by amending Section 17.40.060 regarding applications to amend the Official Zoning Map (Proposal No. 2005Z-001T).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the codification of Title 17 of the Code of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Zoning Regulations, be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section 17.40.060 by adding the following new sentence at the end of subsection A.:

“All applications to amend the official zoning map filed with the metropolitan clerk shall be immediately forwarded to the planning commission and a copy sent to the metropolitan council office.”

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect five (5) days from and after its passage and such change be published in a newspaper of general circulation, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
