ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-449

An ordinance authorizing the acceptance of an easement described in the plans for 2879 Lincrest Drive, Stormwater Project No. 03-D-0377 (Proposal No. 2004M-097U-14).

WHEREAS, grant of an easement has been executed by the respective property owner and offered to the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County; and,

WHEREAS, the easement is described in the plans for Project No. 03-D-0377, on file with the Department of Water and Sewerage Services, and is located on the property described in Exhibit 1 hereto.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY.

Section 1. The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by and through the Director of Public Property Administration is hereby authorized to accept from the respective property owner the easement as described in the plans for Project No. 03-D-0377, on file with the Department of Water and Sewerage Services, and located on the property described in Exhibit 1 hereto, which plans and exhibit are incorporated herein.

Section 2. The easement shall be filed in the Office of the Register of Deeds to evidence its acceptance.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee, requiring it.

I move to amend Ordinance No. BL2004-449 by deleting the word “Lincrest”, wherein it appears in the caption of the ordinance, and substituting in lieu thereof the word “Lyncrest”.
