SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-434
An ordinance amending Chapter 4.12 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to require that all contracts providing for consulting services or performance audit services be approved by the Metropolitan Council.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That Chapter 4.12 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws be and the same is hereby amended by adding the following new Section 4.12.230:
"4.12.230
Contracts relating to consultant services and performance audit services.
No contract providing for consultant services or performance audit services
for the metropolitan government may be entered into unless and until such contract
has been approved by resolution duly adopted by the council receiving twenty-one
affirmative votes."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
