An ordinance amending Section 16.24.170 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws to require that notices of violations of the Property Standards Code be either personally delivered or sent only by certified mail.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. Section 16.24.170 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws shall be and the same is hereby amended as follows:

1. By amending subsection B.5. by deleting the words “or first-class”.
2. By amending subsection B.6. by deleting the words “or first class”.

Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
