An ordinance changing the effective date of the fee increase applicable to traffic school and certain zoning applications.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2004-262, approved increases in fees for the General Sessions Court safety center’s traffic safety school and DUI school, and approved a new fee schedule associated with the processing and review of certain zoning-related applications; and,

WHEREAS, said fees were to go into effect January 1, 2005; and,

WHEREAS, it is to the benefit of the Metropolitan Government that said fees go into effect immediately.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That the fees approved by Ordinance No. 2004-262 shall take effect immediately.

Section 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its third and final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
