An ordinance to amend Title 17 of the Metropolitan Code of Laws, the Zoning Ordinance of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, by applying the Historic Landmark Overlay District to the West End Middle School at 3529 West End Avenue (12.70 acres), Hume Fogg Magnet School at 700 Broadway (1.95 acres), Martin Luther King, Jr. Magnet School at 613-17th Avenue North (6.82 acres), and East Literature Magnet School at 112 Gallatin Avenue (24.92 acres), all of which is described herein (Proposal Nos. 2004Z-062U-10, 2004Z-071U-09, 2004Z-072U-08, and 2004Z-073U-05).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:

Section 1. That Title 17 of the Code of Laws of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, is hereby amended by changing the Official Zoning Map for Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, which is made a part of Title 17 by reference, as follows:

By applying the Historic Landmark Overlay District to the West End Middle School at 3529 West End Avenue (12.70 acres) as being Property Parcel No. 244 as designated on Map 104-9, Hume Fogg Magnet School at 700 Broadway (1.95 acres) as being Property Parcel No. 21 designated on Map 93-6-3, Martin Luther King, Jr. Magnet School at 613-17th Avenue North (6.82 acres) as being Property Parcel No. 16 designated on Map 92-8, and East Literature Magnet School at 112 Gallatin Avenue (24.92 acres) as being Property Parcel No. 2 designated on Map 83-9 of the Official Property Identification Maps of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, all of which is described by lines, words and figures on the attached sketch, which is attached to and made a part of this ordinance as though copied herein.

Section 2. Be it further enacted, that the Metropolitan Clerk is hereby authorized and directed, upon the enactment and approval of this ordinance, to cause the change to be made on Sheet Nos. 104, 93, 92, and 83 said Official Zoning Map for Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, as set out in Section 1 of this ordinance, and to make notation thereon of reference to the date of passage and approval of this amendatory ordinance.

Section 3. Be it further enacted, that this ordinance take effect immediately after its passage and such change be published in a newspaper of general circulation, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
