ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-251
An ordinance to accept funds from Skyline Medical Center for an appraisal of the Old Due West Landfill located at 801 Old Due West Avenue.
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County has received a request from the Skyline Medical Center to lease an approximate 35.25 acre tract of land, known as the Old Due West Landfill, located at 801 Old Due West Avenue in Madison; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Government requires an appraisal to determine a
fair lease market value; and
WHEREAS, the Public Property Administration requests authorization from the
Metropolitan Council to accept funds from Tri-Star Health Systems for payment
of the appraisal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The
Metropolitan Government is hereby authorized to accept funds from Tri-Star
Health Systems, not to exceed three thousand five hundred dollars
($3,500.00).
SECTION 2. That the amount not exceeding three thousand five hundred dollars
($3,500.00) be provided for the purpose of having an appraisal done on the
Old Due West Landfill, located at 801 Old Due West Avenue in Madison.
SECTION 3. That the amount of this donation is hereby appropriated to the Public Property Administration, Department of Finance (Fund No. 5100, BU 15512200) in the current fiscal year budget.
SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
