ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-250
An ordinance authorizing the Metropolitan Government, Water and Sewerage Services Department, to participate with B.I.G. Development, Inc., in lining the sewer along 1409 Fatherland Street, Project No. 04-SX-62 and to accept the funds received by thereby, and authorizing the Director of Water and Sewerage Services to execute the participation agreement.
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Department of Water and Sewerage Services desires to create interior lining and protection for a portion of the public sewer service along 1409 Fatherland Street, as set forth in project No. 04-SX-62, on file with the Department of Water and Sewerage Services; and
WHEREAS, B.I.G. Development, Inc., has expressed a desire to provide future potential interior lining and protection for a portion of the public sewer service along 1409 Fatherland Street in Nashville, TN.; and
WHEREAS, said sewer lining and protection will benefit both the Department of Water and Sewerage Services and B.I.G. Development, Inc., as well as the community of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
SECTION 1. The Participation Agreement with B.I.G. Development, in., attached hereto as Exhibit 1, regarding Project No. 04-SX-62, is hereby approved and incorporated herein, and the Director of the Department of Water and Sewerage Services is authorized to execute the same.
SECTION 2. The Department of Water and Sewerage Services is authorized to accept payment from B.I.G. Development, Inc. in the amount of $4,750.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its final passage, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
