ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-248
An ordinance authorizing the placement of automatic teller machines (ATM's)
in the North Nashville Police Precinct, Hermitage Police Precinct and South
Police Precinct (Proposal No 2004M-040U).
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Police Department Employees Credit Union has
offered to install automatic teller machines (ATM's) in the North Nashville
Police
Precinct, Hermitage Police Precinct and South Police Precinct; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Police Department Employees Credit Union will pay for all costs associated with the placement, operation and maintenance of these ATM's; and
WHEREAS, the location of these ATM's will serve the financial needs of the members of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department who are members of the Metropolitan Police Department Employees Credit Union, as well as the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. That the Metropolitan Police Department Employee’s Credit Union is authorized to place automatic teller machines (ATM's) in the North Nashville Police Precinct (shown on Exhibit A), Hermitage Police Precinct (shown on Exhibit B), and South Police Precinct (shown on Exhibit C) in accordance with any license agreement.
SECTION 2. A representative copy of the license agreement to be executed between
the Metropolitan Government and the Metropolitan Police Department Employees
Credit Union is attached hereto as Exhibit D, approved and incorporated herein,
and the Director of Public Property or his designee is authorized to execute
an agreement in substantial conformity herewith.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage, the
welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County,
Tennessee, requiring it.

AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO
ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-248
Mr. President:
I move to amend Ordinance No. BL-2004-248 by amending the first paragraph thereof by substituting the following provision:
“WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Police Department Employees Credit Union has requested to install automatic teller machines (ATM's) in the North Nashville Police Precinct, Hermitage Police Precinct and South Police Precinct; and.”
