ORDINANCE NO. BL2004-184
An ordinance requiring the Director of Finance to provide the Metropolitan Board of Public Education and the Metropolitan Council certain information regarding the operating budget for the Board of Public Education.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT OF NASHVILLE AND DAVIDSON COUNTY:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance shall provide to the members of the Board of Public Education and to the Council, prior to the submission of the operating budget for the Board of Public Education to the Board for consideration, information regarding the revenues available for the operating budget of the Board of Public Education, including available fund balances.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its enactment, the welfare of The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County requiring it.
